Our founder has worked with Linux servers for more than 25 years. That’s a quarter century of bugs, outages, and surprises, which is why problems get recognized and fixed fast. That experience goes into everything we do.
We build our websites with HUGO, or with Vite, React, and TypeScript. No WordPress. Sites built this way load fast and offer far fewer points of attack than a WordPress site loaded with plugins.
Beyond building your website, we also take care of hosting, your domain name, and spam protection. If you need them, we also draft your privacy policy and terms of use. We’re not lawyers, so having them reviewed by one is your responsibility.
When we manage your server, we back up its data automatically every day, to your own cloud account (for example Amazon S3 or Backblaze B2) or to a NAS on your local network. Your data stays yours the whole time. We set up and oversee the backups, and handle restores when needed.
If we don’t recommend something, we’ll say so and explain why. If a job isn’t in our wheelhouse, we’ll tell you that too. We reply to every inquiry within two business days and explain technical matters in plain English. So you always know what’s going on with your website or server, and why.
Our clients include businesses in the United States, Canada, and Switzerland. We manage their servers remotely, over secure connections. If your server is in another country, or you work with partners abroad, that’s no obstacle for us.
