Hosting for modern websites
We only host websites built with modern technology. Nothing on our servers runs on a PHP engine. We don’t host WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla sites.
Web hosting on Linux servers, with regular backups.
We also offer web hosting, mainly for clients whose websites we built on our own stack. When we host your site, we include a free SSL certificate, so it’s served over a secure, encrypted connection.
On request, we also take care of ongoing maintenance: we update and check your site regularly, so it always works the way it should. We work out the details with each client individually.
For email, we usually recommend a dedicated provider such as Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. We can help you set those up, too.
What we offer
25+ years of Linux experience
Our servers run Linux, and that’s no accident. Our founder has worked with Linux for almost 30 years and knows how servers work down to the smallest detail.
Automatic backups
We back up every website we host on a regular schedule. If something does go wrong, we can restore your data from those backups quickly, with no runaround.
Email, on request
On request, we can also provide email for your domain with your hosting. It’s not our core business, so we usually recommend a dedicated provider. But if you specifically ask for it, we’ll set it up.
What we don’t host
We don’t host websites built on WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, or any other PHP-based system.
The reason is the same one that keeps us from building them: PHP-based content management systems are an outdated approach, and from a security standpoint they can’t be trusted. We don’t want security holes in those sites to put the other websites on our servers, and their data, at risk.
But if you have a WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla site, we’ll gladly rebuild it on modern technology, and host it for you, too.
